Classes - who needs them?

I didn't go to class today. I'm going to say it was out of respect for the ANZACS. No one should be forced to learn on such an important patriotic day.
Actually, I just have too much college stuff to do.
I think I hate the fact that a bachelor level of study, they still take a role and make 'chapel' type components compulsory. Isn't that right Revhead?

I think I will just get my mum to write me a note....

Who needs classes? They are silly and are merely an enforced structure of a functionalist society! Boycott all classes!!!

Yay for a student revolt. edumacation is so overrated.

In the words of Ralph Wiggam "Me fail English...thats unpossable"

I think Chapel is a very important subject, should be compulsory and should be treated with utmost respect. On the other hand, those ripper blokes we call ANZAC's do deserve repect in the form of a lazy day at home. Reflecting on the tough times they went through is enough to make anyone tired. I can see your quandry and think you chose right...this time. I can forge Mums signature if it helps!

I think mum is at her own chapel service with the 'functionalist' one.

Only first year students, overseas students and middle aged mature age students(female) don't wag classes.

But then they all do get High Distinctions for everything, including "Straight ruled red margins"

i'm pretty sure the ANZACS went to war over this very issue that in a democratic society people should have a freedom of choice that extends over whether or not they can run a buisness, whether or not they are free to express their beliefs and whether or not they go to class. One could say that you are actually giving the ANZAC memory a fitting honour by your actions, others may even call you... a hero.

as a true patriot and an australian icon i must condone sinking a beer or two and basking in the glory of the odds of my turning up too class *TOTE REPOrT: possible classes in last three weeks 12-1, actual classes attended 12 - 9*

i like those odds.

Wire, you are a gifted child :D

not be confused with a childish gift...such as a mud pie, or a "cup of tea" in an empty bucket.

*thinks back to own childhood, wishing for such experiences*

I'll be sure to give you a mud pie next time I see you Billy!

Work, what is the definition of work? I leave home each day to do my hobby! Yeah that's it, a hobby. Dont you think it's easier thinking of it this way. I get paid to do my hobby, lucky me

G'day Cap, fank yoo forr yor enkuragmint. I doent thinque i evin knead two studee

Billy said...

OK Cap, will do, have you studied? do you know how taxing it is physically? You have to get up by about 10am, slave over a hot bakery and buy some donuts and coffee, then drag yourself to class. At this point your brain is thinking about waking up, but usually decided class is overrated

Dr Dan said...

Ahhh, again, all good comments lead to donuts. Hot roasted chokolate kusterd wunz, wiv spwinklz on di top.

And those of us who did the hard yards of study knew that one day we would reap the rewards by being paid ridiculous amounts of money to use all the long words we learnt at uni. You go through all the mid morning starts, sleeping through lectures and excessive holidays (tough times)only to finish and spend the rest of your life poor and helping people you don't necessarily like. Billy, you are my hero.

Why thank you... and you are right...you DO need a blog. Would you care to identify yourself?

You'll work out who I am, especially when you think about what a special day it is today.
