all down hill from here

I did half a day of work for Dan at Dr Audio today (does 5.5 hours count as half a day?). Fair to say, my body forgot that it was doing manual work!!

Off to the Comm games tonight with Rach - Athletics is the flavor. I'm not overly excited about going, but should be good. I think I struggle with the amount of money that has been spent on the games......

How were the games? Can't say i'm that into them. Just saw a bit of the closign ceremony. Music rocked, everything else sucked. I missed Ben Lee, now I'm sad. I left when the speeches started. Man do they love John So!

That is so unaustryan!
We are the greatest! Our commentators are the best!

No question - its lucky for the yanks, ruskies, krauts, frowgs, choinese, pakis, I-talians, swedes and co that they weren't competing....
lucky, lucky, lucky! 'cause we would have shellacked them so totally.

And the closin' ceremony featuring dame Edna, well, what can I say? Champagne CULTURE like youse don't get , like nowhere else.

Who doesn't love John So?!?

i went to the atheletics as well (an the squash) and i can see where you are coming from, it's hard to stay interested so i would just get up and go for a walk or listen to my radio at the same time or something. i'm glad melbourne hosted them though, and i'm glad i went not just to the sport but also to the other stuff.

so it begs the question...not literally of course, but were the vast majority of spectator like us, going to 'have a look' or are we out numbered by those who 'couldn't get enough'?

I think it leaned more in our favour, but there were a great number of honest fans too.
