When is enough...enough?
I heard a rumour that you could not blog for an extended period of time, then just pick up where you left off. Its called a "blog vacation (blog-cation) or a blog holiday (holiblog)... or a blog break (brog) or a...... i'm out
I think if we keep up this intellectual banter for too long, we risk shaping the English language for ever. You see, I have a dream...a dream where the word 'blog' is inserted into other words.....a dream where people with blogs are not laughed at. A dream where we the Bloggers of the world unite in common purpose.
We will have Blog classes in our schools....we will sing national anthems glorifying blogs. Our popular worship leaders will have names like Darlene Zschblog.
People will even be telling other people tersely to "Shut your Blog!" and to "Blog off"
We will hear small children ask "Mummy why doesn't Johnny have a blog"
The answer will be "because Johnny is neither smart nor cool...he probably doesn't even smoke either !"

This is naught but a rumour! All one needs is a 'face' lift and to remind everyone you exist by way of numerous emails.
And by face I mean blog. Flog?
...blog sabbatical (blogatical)...been off on blog-compo...blogensation...
